vivo X500, the series has an official launch date

During the Creator Festival event held in China yesterday, vivo unveiled to the public the exact date for the debut of the long-awaited X500 series.

vivo X300 Pro

Through a press release posted on the social network Weibo, the company has officially announced that the launch event will take place on September 21 in China.

The new family of smartphones will consist of three distinct versions, designed to cater to different usage needs. Specifically, consumers will be able to choose between the base variant, simply named vivo X500, the mid-range model vivo X500 Pro and the flagship device vivo X500 Pro Max.

Awaiting the official presentation, the brand has already activated a dedicated page on its official Chinese website. This section allows more interested users to place the pre-orders for the smartphones, ensuring the possibility of having them available shortly after their release on the local market.

Information shared by the company executives offers a very clear preview of the specifications that will distinguish the various devices. The two higher-end variants, namely X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max, will sit in the very high-end segment of the market. Both smartphones will be able to rely on an all-new Dimensity processor built with an advanced 2 nm manufacturing process.

The two flagship models will be equipped with a completely new rear main camera sensor. By contrast, the standard Vivo X500 will maintain a line of technological continuity, adopting the same main sensor and the same telephoto lens already present on the previous vivo X300 Pro.

Beyond smartphones

The September 21 conference will not be devoted solely to mobile phones, but will serve as a platform for the brand’s broader catalog expansion. Alongside the smartphones, two new products designed for everyday use will also take the stage.

The first is a pair of new headphones, characterized by a distinctive clip-on design for the ears, aimed at increasing comfort and stability during listening.

Joining the new earbuds will also be the official unveiling of the vivo Watch 6, the brand’s next smartwatch.
