HyperOS 4: which Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO devices will receive the update?

Android 17 stable has arrived and shortly after Lei Jun’s company announced the new version of its interface. HyperOS 4 is still in beta, but to avoid being caught unprepared, here is the list of smartphones Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO that will receive the long-awaited update.

For the moment this is a partial list since the full one will be published at a later time, so fingers crossed and let’s hope for the best for the older models!

Which Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO smartphones will be updated to HyperOS 4.0: here is the first official list

At the moment the official list includes a small number of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, while POCO is not yet included. This is because HyperOS 4 has been announced in China and there is still no Global announcement; moreover the brand has started releasing the beta releases, while for the stable software a bit more patience will be required.

Also a note: HyperOS 3, launched with Android 16, also includes devices that are stuck on Android 15. The same will happen with HyperOS 4: the new UI is based on Android 17, but there will be devices that will receive the update while remaining on the previous OS version (Android 16).

When does the HyperOS 4.0 stable update come out?

Xiaomi has presented HyperOS 4.0 in China, while the Global version still requires waiting. Probably the company will announce the UI in Europe during September, with the first stable releases by the end of October (although this remains speculative and there is no confirmation yet).
