Named Muse Charm, this small gadget takes the form of a keychain and allows users to interact vocally with the company’s virtual assistant.

The product’s standout feature lies in its independence from smartphones for quick operations, ensuring immediate use thanks to a dedicated biometric sensor.

Who remembers the famous Tamagotchi from the 90s will find a certain familiarity in the lines of Meta’s new product. The compact dimensions and the oval shape closely echo the iconic virtual companion, while from certain angles it resembles a classic stopwatch.

Unlike past entertainments, the modern display integrated into the chassis is specifically designed to show the avatar of your Muse agent. The California-based company has worked to condense the same real-time voice-interaction technology into a portable tool, intended to attach to your keys and be carried everywhere with minimal bulk.

The most notable aspect of the device concerns the user experience. To start a conversation with the AI, simply press your finger on the fingerprint reader located at a corner of the body. This simple gesture enables instant communication, eliminating the need to pull the smartphone from your pocket, unlock the screen, or navigate through apps.

The same CEO noted that, in the absence of the brand’s smart glasses, this accessory represents by far the fastest way to talk to the assistant and interact with the surrounding environment.

At the moment, the product is still in a refinement phase. The team has produced only a limited number of units and is evaluating the final materials for the external finishes, as well as optimizing the internal layout of the components.

Despite these temporary limitations, Zuckerberg described the testing phases as a very enjoyable experience, suggesting a notable software fluidity.

Shipments will begin in December, an ideal timeframe to capture holiday-related purchases.
