The Win family, which so far has featured smartphones exclusively with the models Win, Win RT and Win Turbo, will soon be enriched with an unreleased tablet.

The initial information and images shared online by the company’s executives outline a high-end device, featuring a state-of-the-art processor, a high-quality display, and a cooling solution altogether unusual for this product category.

Honor Win, the tablet will have a cooling fan

Through a post published on the social platform Weibo, Lin Lin, head of Honor’s China Smart Life division, has revealed a preview of the back of the new device.

The released image shows a square-shaped camera module, accompanied by the Win series logo clearly visible on the rear shell.

However, the detail that grabs the most attention and distinguishes this model from traditional tablets concerns the thermal management. The executive has indeed confirmed the presence of a cooling fan integrated inside the chassis.

This choice aims to keep temperatures under control even during the most demanding usage sessions, allowing users to fully harness the computing power without experiencing annoying frame drops or unusual overheating.

Answering directly to users’ questions in the comments on the original post, Lin Lin provided further highly relevant technical details. The tablet will be equipped with an OLED panel, and underneath the chassis there will be space for the advanced and powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
