Honor 700 Pro could take a cue from Xiaomi’s most interesting device from last year

Recent rumors from China indicate that Honor is actively working on the 700 series, with particular attention to integrating a secondary display.

Following a stylistic and functional thread popularized by Xiaomi 17 Pro, the alleged Honor 700 Pro aims to offer a refreshed user experience thanks to high-end camera hardware and a rear secondary display boosted by artificial intelligence.

Information shared by well-known leaker Digital Chat Station on the Weibo platform outlines a very clear picture for the brand’s next device.

The front of the smartphone should be dominated by a flat panel of 6.57 inches with 1.5K resolution. This display will feature extremely slim symmetric bezels and technology designed to reduce the device’s overall power consumption.

The real differentiating element of the Honor 700 series lies in the 1.72-inch rear display. At the moment, the exact position of this component remains unknown: the company could decide to insert it directly inside the camera block, as happens on Xiaomi devices, or in a lower section of the chassis.

We do know, however, that the previous range Honor 600 had introduced a circular magnetic accessory, capable of detaching from the smartphone to act as a fill light in low-light conditions, as a handy selfie viewfinder and even as a small customizable wearable capable of displaying videos and animated backgrounds.

With the new generation, the Asian manufacturer aims to make a qualitative leap. The new rear panel will not merely replicate these handy functions, but will be enriched with AI-related capabilities, greatly expanding everyday usage possibilities.

In addition to the display-related novelties, the leaked specs highlight a strong focus on photographic performance. The brand is testing a 200 MP main sensor, designed to ensure sharp, detail-rich shots.

The precise technical parameters of this camera have not yet been fully disclosed by the source, but a resolution value this high clearly indicates the intention to offer absolute-level creative tools.

The combination of a 200 MP sensor and the rear display, which facilitates perfect framing of selfies by leveraging the quality of the primary lenses, promises to make the smartphone one of the most complete devices to hit the market.
