The Redmi series for international markets (with an eye toward Europe) has been teased by a multitude of leaks, and now the latest model has surfaced. In the past few days we have taken a first look at the budget phone Redmi 17 4G and even the Redmi Note 17 range doesn’t seem to have many secrets left.
nNow it’s Redmi 17 5G‘s turn, a model that should represent the most affordable option for those aiming at one of the devices of the new generation.
nThe smartphone’s design is almost identical to the LTE variant: we have a squared camera module and a screen with a centered punch-hole and a pronounced chin (a detail that highlights the budget nature of the device).
nThe color options also appear identical, at least for the black and blue tones. The 5G model also introduces an orange version, featuring a back cover in eco-leather and a gold-colored camera island.
nAccording to what has emerged, Redmi Note 17 5G should start from about €250 for the base configuration – the 4/128 GB version. A release date hasn’t been set yet, but given the volume of leaks it’s likely the launch isn’t far off.
nRegarding the specs, the phone would be equipped with the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5, powered by a 6,500 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. The display should be a 6.9-inch LCD with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the camera system would rely on a 50 MP main sensor.
