Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Extreme: spotted the track monster with over 2,000 hp

Lei Jun’s company takes things seriously—indeed, very seriously—and has no intention of stopping at the market for classic electric sedans. The Chinese giant is expanding its automotive horizons toward decidedly more exotic heights, and the latest on-road sighting is a clear confirmation.

Let’s talk about the new Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Extreme, a high-performance variant designed specifically for the track and born to push the lineup beyond any limit. The prototype has been spotted during testing with a camouflaged design: here are the very first rumors about the brand’s next electric supercar.

The first leaked photos leave no room for doubt: if SU7 Ultra standard was already aggressive, here we move to the next level, with a completely redesigned design optimized for maximum downforce and power off the charts.

The aesthetic and functional modifications are evident at first glance, starting with the imposing fixed rear wing, crucial for keeping the car planted on the ground in fast corners, which works in synergy with a rear diffuser characterized by particularly pronounced fins to reduce rear turbulence.

The package is completed by a redesigned front end that incorporates larger fins and new air intakes near the wheel arches, a crucial modification to optimize brake cooling and reduce aerodynamic drag.

The rumors are, to say the least, monstrous: under the hood, the SU7 Ultra Extreme is expected to house a configuration of four electric motors, capable of unleashing roughly 2,054 hp.

This kind of power isn’t just about launching the car like a rocket the moment you press the accelerator, but it will also enable super-intelligent wheel management: the system will regulate the thrust on every single tire down to the millimeter, allowing you to control the car in corners with exceptionally high ease and precision.

If these numbers were officially confirmed, we would be looking at the most powerful vehicle ever conceived by the company.

Not just sedans: there’s also a two-door supercar in the plans.

The strategy of the Chinese brand is crystal clear: to create technological prestige and to demonstrate that Xiaomi is not just smartphones, home automation, or HyperOS updates, but a manufacturer capable of rivaling the giants of the automotive world.

To prove this, once again according to rumors, it seems that the company is even testing a two-door supercar based on the same styling language (although for now there are no details).

At the moment the prototype of the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Extreme is undergoing testing in Germany, and there are no details yet on price or release. Based on the brand’s usual timelines, the official presentation should be expected within the next 12-18 months.
