Redmi Note 17, leak without brakes: here’s how much the series will cost in Europe

In the past weeks, Xiaomi has unveiled in China the new models of the Redmi Note 17 series. Usually the Global debut occurs after many months, but this time it seems things will go differently.

The official Indian site has already started to warm up, confirming the rumors of a debut in August. In the meantime, the first information about international versions is starting to circulate, with a multitude of details on possible prices in Europe!

At the moment, Lei Jun’s company has not yet revealed the release date for the Redmi Note 17 Global. Nevertheless, official channels have published the first teasers, while leaks point toward the 6 August – at least for the Indian market.

Looking at Europe, the latest rumors have revealed the upcoming smartphones and even the supposed prices:

  • Redmi Note 17 4G – €250 (4/128 GB), €300 (6/256 GB)
  • Redmi Note 17 5G – €400 (6/256 GB)
  • Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G – €500 (6/256 GB)
  • Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G – €600 (8/256 GB)

Compared to the models launched in China there should be some changes, albeit minimal: the Note 17 base should have a 108 MP camera instead of 50 MP, while the batteries of 8,000 mAh and 9,000 mAh on the Note 17 and 17 Pro would be downgraded.

The existence of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max has been confirmed by a Global certification, which lists both the model number and the commercial name. The device will replace the usual Pro+ but it remains to be seen when it will actually debut on the market.

The launch in China is expected to take place in August while the international one in September – during a separate event from the younger siblings.
