The Unpacked event of July 22 will not bring to the London stage only Samsung’s foldable flagships, but c3as usuale there will also be room for the new range of wearables. This is not the first time images of Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 have leaked; however this time all color variants of each version are shown, just like what happened in the past hours with Galaxy Z Fold 8, Fold 8 Ultra and Flip 8.
There has been talk for weeks and now comes yet another confirmation: the new series does not include a Classic model, so we will have only two wearables to choose from. Samsung Galaxy Watch 9 shows itself in 40 mm and 44 mm sizes, in Cream, Green and Graphite colors.
The Korean giant has reused the Cushion Design, characterized by a squared case containing a round display. In reality the look is practically identical to that of Galaxy Watch 8; along the right side there are two physical buttons while, on the opposite side, we have the speaker.
The watch will also debut in LTE version and it seems we will see a price increase; there are rumors of at least €40 and €30 for the 40/44 mm Bluetooth models, while the 4G counterparts should increase by €50 and €30.
The new Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 will be available only in the 47 mm version, in Gray and Silver colors. Also in this case there are not big differences with the first chapter, except for the presence of the numbers around the bezel.
The rugged Samsung watch should make a debut only with LTE connectivity and, as with the standard model, a price increase is expected: rumors point to around €50 more than the predecessor, so it should debut in Europe at €749 (still according to the leaks so far).
