Galaxy S26 FE and Tab S12: September launch hints emerge thanks to Google

There’s only one day left until the Unpacked event dedicated to Samsung’s new foldables and wearables, but thanks to certifications and leaks, we already know what the coming months have in store for us. In the brand’s near future there are Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and the Galaxy Tab S12, both already featured in a slew of rumors.

In the latest hours Google has also left its mark, listing the devices in a hidden section within the official app: in short, another hint that the debut is now almost imminent.

The Google app code analysis allowed the Android Authority team to discover a list of devices offering a free trial of Google’s AI premium plans. The list includes the new Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8, due on July 22, but what stands out is a pair of unreleased products.

Inside the list also appear the names Galaxy S26 FE and Galaxy Tab S12, and it’s clear that the release is around the corner. Samsung is likely to follow last year’s timeline, so the event dedicated to the affordable flagship and the new tablet lineup is expected for September.

Galaxy S26 FE has been spotted on several occasions: on Geekbench with Exynos 2500, in some live images (thanks to a certifying body) and even in renders due to a case manufacturer. The design doesn’t seem to offer major changes, and even the leaked specs point toward a light upgrade.

Regarding tablets, this time there should be Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra (with a large display and a big battery) and the Tab S12+ version.
