Steam becomes the real protagonist of household cleaning with Roborock F25 Steam, the new vacuum-mop that aims to stand out thanks to the VaporFlow technology. The goal is to tackle stubborn dirt, stains and residues without resorting to chemical detergents, leveraging a high-temperature steam jet that acts even before the brush action.
As anticipated in the introduction, the main feature of Roborock F25 Steam is the VaporFlow system, which generates high-temperature steam up to 180°C to soften stains before mechanical scrubbing — via the mop roller.
According to the brand, the steam is distributed continuously across the entire surface to be cleaned, helping to dissolve oil residues, wax and stubborn dirt without the need to use chemical cleaners.
The system starts operating in about 60 seconds and produces a steady flow of steam with an optimized outlet angle, designed to evenly cover the floor during cleaning.
In addition to removing dirt, steam also plays an important role in hygiene.
According to Roborock’s stated data, F25 Steam is able to reach a bacteria removal rate greater than 99.9999%, while allergen removal reaches at least 99.9%. The company also emphasizes that the treatment occurs without detergents, relying solely on the heat of steam.
Clearly the new F25 Steam does not rely solely on steam: the floor cleaner is equipped with a an suction power of 25,000 Pa, a downward pressure of 33 N and a brush that spins up to 450 revolutions per minute, so as to collect simultaneously dry dirt and wet debris in a single pass.
To limit streaks on the floor, the device also uses a constant-pressure scraper that precisely regulates the water distribution during cleaning.
To complete the kit we find a battery life of up to 80 minutes, sufficient to clean surfaces up to 660 m2 on a single charge. There is also the FlatReach 2.0 technology, which allows the device to recline fully up to 180° to reach the space under furniture and beds more easily.
Steam is also used in the maintenance phase of the device. Once placed on the base, Roborock F25 Steam automatically starts a roller self-cleaning cycle that combines high-temperature steam, heat flow, centrifugation and hot-air drying up to 95°C.
The system also includes monitoring of the roller’s dirt level, automatically adjusting the cleaning intensity and leaving the device ready for the next use.
The new Roborock gem is on promo until August 9: during this period you can save a whopping €130! The list price is €589 but right now, F25 Steam is available for €459 on Amazon, with all the benefits of Prime shipping.
