Redmi Note 17 in super early reveal: Global version already in August?

A few days have passed since the presentation of the Redmi Note 17 series in China, and rumors about the early release of the version Global are becoming more insistent. An insider raises the stakes and reveals the possible presentation date: the event should take place very soon, in the height of summer, even if initially distribution could be limited to the Indian market only.

Redmi Note 17 5G Global version will be launched in August: here are the latest rumors

According to the latest rumors, Redmi Note 17 5G is expected to be launched in India on the coming 6 August: this is a very close date and well ahead of the usual timelines. The current Note 15 series debuted in Global version in January (for the Indian and European markets).

In short, Xiaomi would have decided to push on the accelerator, with a little more than six months between one series and the other. For the moment leaks refer only to the standard model and there is no sign of the elder Redmi Note 17 Pro.

Furthermore, Note 17 Global seems to have some differences compared to the Chinese counterpart, but they are not clarified. According to previous rumors, the Indian model should have the same 8,000 mAh battery used in China, while in Europe it would drop to 7,700 mAh.

We remind again that the August date would concern the Indian market and it is not known whether the release will be brought forward also in Italy.
