Realme Narzo 100x 5G official: affordable, but with a 144 Hz display and 8,000 mAh

While the rumors about the end of Realme UI are increasingly insistent (with the move to OPPO’s ColorOS), the Asian company continues to churn out budget phones non-stop. The latest addition is Realme Narzo 100x 5G, freshly launched in India: here are all the details, as we await to discover whether there is a possibility of a launch also at our latitudes (perhaps as part of the C-series).

The newcomer is the first Narzo model equipped with a Titan Battery, a silicon-carbon unit of a remarkable 8,000 mAh. This is the device’s flagship feature, promising up to 3 days of autonomy on a single charge, in a chassis of 8.8 mm thick.

Present is the support for 45W fast charging, while 27W reverse charging allows you to use the big battery as a power bank. Realme Narzo 100x is equipped with a 6.8″ LCD display with HD resolution: nothing flashy, but the panel offers a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits.

The Dimensity 6300 chipset by MediaTek, with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage; the liquid cooling system with a vapor chamber works to keep temperatures consistently cool, especially during gaming sessions and heavy use.

The camera system is based on a single 50 MP main sensor, accompanied by an 8 MP selfie camera; the latter is housed in a central punch-hole, for a display with a modern look.

The back hosts a light ring called AI Pulse Light: it is a customizable LED with 9 colors and 5 speeds, useful as ambient light while playing music and games, as an indicator for calls and messages, and as a low battery warning.

The smartphone is equipped with integrated Gemini, while on the software side it is based on Android 16, with Realme UI 7. The chassis is IP65-rated against dust and water; additionally, the phone has received military-grade durability certification.

The new Realme Narzo 100x 5G debuted in India starting from 20,999 rupees, approximately €191 at the current exchange rate, for the 4/128 GB version. The higher configurations of 6/128 GB and 6/256 GB cost respectively 22,999 rupees (around €209) and 24,999 rupees (around €227).

The device shares several features in common with Realme C100 5G, launched in Italy in recent months. However the Narzo model offers some improvements for battery, selfie camera and IP rating, not to mention the rear LED ring. All things considered, it could even make its way here as part of the C series, but at the moment there is no confirmation.
