Fujifilm expands its high-end range of analog instant cameras in the Instax series by presenting a new, refined variant for its flagship model.
The famous Instax mini 99 is dressed in an elegant Silver color, joining the classic black version introduced in 2024.
The new model combines a decidedly retro aesthetic with a package of high-level creative features, offering enthusiasts a sophisticated tool to capture and print their memories with great versatility.

The camera’s new look maintains the black faux-leather finishes on the body and embellishes the top and bottom plates with a beautiful silver paint. The power dial around the lens also adopts this elegant lighter color.
This aesthetic update draws directly from the design of iconic vintage SLR cameras and pairs perfectly with the refined style that characterizes Fujifilm’s prestigious cameras of the X Series from Fujifilm.

Ease of use is further ensured by the presence of two shutter buttons, designed to facilitate framing both in portrait and landscape orientation
Advanced tools for maximum creativity
What sets this top-of-the-line model apart is the rich set of features designed to personalize each printed image in real time. One of the most significant introductions is the color effects dial, the first of its kind, which uses an ingenious system of integrated LEDs inside the camera to imprint six different color atmospheres directly onto the film.
By turning the selector, users can opt for warm tones, elegant sepia tints, soft magenta or blue casts, faded greens, and even simulate fascinating light leaks for a vintage and unpredictable touch.
Further enriching expressive options is the manual vignette switch, conveniently located on the lens barrel. This control allows you to slightly close the peripheral diaphragm to create an artfully shaded frame around the main subject, focusing attention on the center of the image.
The overall exposure can be managed with equal precision through a dedicated brightness control dial. This option provides five different levels of intensity: from settings that substantially brighten the scene, through standard neutral values, to variants designed to yield intentionally darker and more dramatic results.

Photographic flexibility in any condition
The Instax mini 99 easily adapts to multiple photographic contexts thanks to a wide selection of operating modes. To capture fast-moving movements without accidental blur, simply enable the sports function that increases the shutter speed.
Indoor environments and low-light conditions can be brilliantly managed with the Indoor mode, while the options for multiple exposure and posed shot invite experimentation, overlaying multiple subjects on the same frame or extending the light intake to capture light trails.
Focus is achieved intuitively by adjusting the lens dial to select the ideal distance. The photographer can fluidly switch from close-ups in Macro mode, active between 30 and 60 cm, to Standard focus for most portraits, up to the expansive Landscape mode for subjects beyond 3 m.
Group photos benefit from the convenient built-in self-timer, while a versatile flash system with several settings (including always-on fill flash, red-eye reduction, or full disable) ensures appropriate lighting according to lighting conditions.
Market arrival
This fascinating new color variant of the Instax mini 99, designed for those who want to combine analog aesthetics with advanced photographic controls, will arrive on shelves from the end of July 2026.
The camera will be offered to the public at the manufacturer’s suggested retail price of €199.99, completing the lineup and pairing with the all-black version to offer users an even wider style choice.
