In May, Honor announced the new Watch 6 Plus, which arrived in Italy (simply as Watch 6), an elegant timepiece boasting stellar battery life and an aesthetic inspired by the world of motors. Now this sporty spirit finds its ultimate expression in the new Motorcycle Edition, developed in collaboration with Zhang Xue, professional racer and founder of the ZXMOTO brand.
The new edition is characterized by a slightly refreshed look: the Racing Dashboard design (which echoes the high-performance air intakes typical of sports cars) has been enriched with a special strap – in black, blue and red.
The device includes a startup animation with the ZXMOTO logo, engine-style sound effects, and a special feature that alerts the user in case of excessive speed while riding. There is also an exclusive Motorcycle Sport Mode, dedicated to two-wheeled enthusiasts.
Specifications and features mirror what was seen with the Honor Watch 6 Plus, while regarding price the new edition is priced at 1,599 yuan (about €206 at the current exchange rate), a figure slightly higher than the 1,199 yuan of the standard model.
We remind once again that the wearable was announced in Italy as Honor Watch 6 (without the Plus designation): unfortunately the Motorcycle edition is available only for the Chinese version, at least for now.
