During May, the Korean company began releasing One UI 8.5 for all supported devices — both domestically and globally, Italy included. This is a mid-cycle update, but despite that it introduced important new features in terms of aesthetics as well as with regard to the interface customization and AI-related functionalities.

However, for some owners of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 things do not seem to have gone completely smoothly: several users on Reddit complain about a drop in battery life performance, and the blame could be a bug in the new software.

However, the rate of battery drain seems to vary by device: some report half the battery life, while in other cases the situation would be even more critical; there are users who complain about the need to charge the foldable up to twice a day.
