The anticipation for the upcoming Samsung branded smartwatches continues to grow, fueled by the latest rumors that point the spotlight on an unveiling event scheduled for the coming July 22.
According to the rumor mill, the frame chosen for this important appointment will be the city of London, where the South Korean company should lift the veils not only on its new generation of foldable smartphones, but also on a renewed line of wearables.
Although the Asian manufacturer continues to keep the utmost secrecy regarding the exact number of watches that will make their official debut, the first concrete information is beginning to emerge thanks to the mandatory steps with international certification bodies.
Precisely through the database of the 3C certification body, crucial technical details regarding the charging of two unreleased devices have leaked.
The devices in question are identified by the codes SM-L3550 and SM-L7150. According to industry experts’ analyses, the first code would refer to the standard model, namely the Galaxy Watch 9, while the second numbering would indicate the anticipated Galaxy Watch Ultra 2.
The most important detail revealed in the official documents concerns support for charging at a maximum power of 10 W. This value confirms a conservative choice by the company’s engineers, who seem intent on maintaining a close continuity with the models that preceded them.
Given that both the Galaxy Watch 8 and the first generation of the Ultra model shared the same charging power, enthusiasts hope that the new devices can compensate for this technical stability by offering significantly longer battery life.
Beyond these two main variants, there is also speculation about a possible announcement of a Galaxy Watch 9 Classic during next month’s presentations. Following the logic adopted by the brand, it is highly likely that this variant will also retain the same 10 W limit, thereby standardizing the hardware characteristics across the entire product family.
Currently, there are no explicit statements regarding the full technical specifications, and Samsung’s leadership in Seoul prefers not to comment on internal components under development.
However, the company has effectively confirmed the imminent arrival of a plurality of smartwatches. This notice comes alongside a recent update of the proprietary Samsung Health app, within which new features dedicated to monitoring physical well-being have already been introduced and described.
These software-level novelties suggest an increasing focus on tracking vital signs, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to refining its wrist-worn tools ahead of the international market debut.
