Midea porta a IFA 2026 la propria visione “Simply ideal” per la casa connessa: no longer appliances designed to accumulate functions, but devices that focus on carefully crafted design, reliable quality, and an artificial intelligence capable of truly simplifying daily life.
The Midea stand, set up in Hall 5.1 of Messe Berlin from September 4 to 8, hosts four “Suite” collections and a series of real home environments, in addition to TEKA and Küppersbusch, the other two brands of the Smart Home division present at the fair.
At the center of Midea’s proposal is SMART MASTER, the AI-powered smart home ecosystem that aims to connect appliances, AI Agent, and real-world home scenarios. The heart of the system is the AI Agent, capable of understanding natural language, interpreting users’ needs and responding accordingly, transforming daily activities into simpler and more personalized experiences.
The system supports 140 languages, a voice recognition range of up to 8 meters and a response time of 0.4 seconds, and is accessible both via built-in voice access points directly in the air conditioner, refrigerator and built-in oven, and via the Midea app, in-car systems, smart speakers and third-party voice assistants. SMART MASTER is also organized into four dedicated agents:
To complete the vision, Midea is exploring the next generation of robotics and embodied AI with Midea Robot, built on the EAGLES architecture and based on a single intelligent ‘brain’ with four foundational multimodal models, designed for scenarios ranging from laundry to the kitchen, from cleaning to companionship, and to the smart control of the entire home.
On the energy front, Midea presents AI ECOMASTER, a proprietary consumption management solution that combines cloud connectivity, advanced analytics, and a pre-trained AI algorithm on a large dataset to continuously optimize the performance of household appliances. The system operates on three levels:
Concurrently, the SPACE MASTER line brings together six products designed to offer capacity within the same footprint: the BMF refrigerator maintains standard external dimensions, offering a usable capacity of 442 liters, the built-in oven reaches a capacity of 92 liters with multi-level cooking, while the Titan dishwasher boasts a 170-liter tub, the largest in its category according to Midea, with the upper basket offering 26% more loading space, a glass rack adjustable up to 250 mm in height and an overall capacity of 16 place settings.
Looking at the kitchen, the BUILT-IN Series, with the Ispira collection designed in Milan, covers built-in oven, induction hob, flow-in hob, hood, refrigerator and dishwasher with a coherent design language conceived for the European market.
The induction cooktops in the Midea InfiniteFit range instead focus on thickness, with a 44 mm-thick ultra-slim body compatible with most European kitchen furniture and without the need for the front ventilation opening typical of traditional cooktops.
The OmniFlex series, however, transforms the induction cooktop into a cooking surface free of fixed zones, thanks to the SpazioFlex and FlexUltra technologies.
Among ovens, PizzaPro promises heating up to 350°C in just 0.2 seconds thanks to Graphene Turbo Airflow technology, a cooking that is 30% more uniform and an 81-liter capacity to bake up to 4 trays at once.
The Tri-GreenApex system, dedicated to dishwashing, integrates washing, drying and preservation in a single process, with an energy efficiency rating of A-50% (about 50% lower energy consumption than the European standard A) and a rapid drying in 30 minutes that keeps the dishes dry for up to 168 hours.
On the laundry front, the OMNI Series family (Omni Fusion, Omni DUO, Omni Trio and Omni Ped S) offers modular washer-dryers and washing machines designed for differentiated garment care, space efficiency and flexible configurations, from the Omni Fusion double-inverter washer-dryer to the compact Omni Ped S shoe washer.
At IFA 2026, Midea also celebrates the start of a five-year partnership with FC Barcelona, starting from the 2026/27 season, which will for the first time carry the brand’s logo on the sleeve of the club’s jersey.
At the stand, visitors will be able to participate in the “Shoot Like a Star” challenge, with 15 seconds to score into a target goal and compete for prizes, in an exhibition area enriched with FC Barcelona-themed elements; and the presence of Carles Puiol is also planned, who will meet fans directly at the stand.
Next to Midea, the Smart Home division brings to IFA 2026 the other two brands as well: TEKA, present in over 120 countries with over 10 million kitchen appliances produced each year, which among other things presents a new category of coffee machines and the In-Line series for more integrated kitchens; and Küppersbusch, a German high-end brand with over 150 years of history, which brings to the fair the Semi Pro and K-Series ranges, Black Matt finishes and the Individual Concept customization program.
