Luxurious iPhone 17 Pro Max: houses a genuine Swiss watch

The new Master of Time collection by Caviar transforms the iPhone 17 Pro Max into an exclusive product for a very small circle: inside this customized version of Cupertino’s latest creation lies a genuine Swiss watch, a high-end horology model for connoisseurs (with unlimited funds, given the prohibitive price).

Once again the luxury tech-accessory maker has produced a device unlike any other, but this time it has chosen to look toward names such as Patek Philippe and IWC.

This is not a simple iPhone 17 Pro Max, but it houses a precious Swiss watch

For those who missed it, Caviar is a company specializing in customizing tech items: not only Apple smartphones, but also Samsung, Huawei, Apple Watch and more. Each device is transformed into a luxury accessory: the interior remains untouched while the outer shell is replaced by a variant crafted with precious metals, gems, exotic materials and distinctive features.

Previously, the brand launched an iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max priced at over $10,000 dedicated to Trump while to celebrate Apple’s 50th anniversary it chose something more understated: a piece of Steve Jobs’ turtleneck inserted inside the famous rear Apple logo.

The new Master of Time collection places the iPhone 17 Pro Max at the center of attention, but Cupertino’s flagship is “only” a mere container — albeit embellished with artisanal decorations in 18-karat white gold and layers of blue enamel, diamonds and a Muonionalusta meteorite plaque.

The real surprise is at the center of the shell, where the company has inserted a mounting system called Watch Vault, designed for specific luxury watches. The housing is equipped with soft protective interiors to prevent damage. And for those who prefer to wear the watch on the wrist, there is a plate that mirrors the dial patterns, to be used to cover the phone’s housing.

The smartphone debuted in two versions: the Celestial model is built around a Patek Philippe Celestial while the Portugieser variant houses an IWC Portugieser Tourbillon Mystère Squelette. As for the price, it starts at $215,360 but obviously it’s possible to customize the final product, further increasing the amount.

Additionally, Caviar has previewed future launches of two more options, namely with Rolex Sky-Dweller and Jacob & Co. Casino Tourbillon — but for now they are concepts; the debut is planned soon.
