Honor 600 Smart is official, with 5G and more than 3 days of battery life

It had been in the air for several weeks thanks to rumors and certifications, and now the new model in the lineup is official. The debut of Honor 600 Smart 5G has taken place only in France, but the European launch nonetheless opens the doors to a possible distribution in Italy. We are waiting for news and, in the meantime, let us explore all the features of a budget phone that promises incredible battery life, with the advantages of 5G.

Honor 600 Smart 5G: everything you need to know about technical specs, price and release

The main difference from the previous Honor 400 Smart is evident from the name: the new model preserves the budget spirit of the Smart line (it’s still the entry level of the series) but this time adds support for 5G networks. An addition not to be underestimated since this standard is increasingly widespread and is demanded even in the low-cost segment.

As for the specs, we are talking about an essential phone: Honor 600 Smart offers a 6.87" LCD display diagonally with HD resolution and brightness up to 1,020 nits. The heart of the device is the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, launched in December and now used for the first time.

There is a single configuration of 4/128 GB, while the battery is larger than that of the higher-end siblings: 7,700 mAh, with support for 45W fast charging. The Chinese company promises up to 93 hours of use on a single charge, almost 4 days of autonomy.

Despite its budget nature, along the left edge there is space for the practical AI button seen also on Honor 600, 600 Pro and 600 Lite. The button is useful for invoking AI features and can be configured with customized shortcuts.

The chassis is IP64 rated and SGS certified for drops up to 2.5 meters; the camera system is entrusted to a 50 MP main sensor, accompanied by a 5 MP selfie camera.

The new Honor 600 Smart 5G appeared on the French official site: it is not yet available for purchase but the listed price is €299. Instead, at a mobile operator there is mention of a subscription plan with the phone at €219. At this point it is worth waiting for the official sales opening by Honor; we also await news on a possible launch in Italy.
