The company of Lei Jun has started pre-orders for the next Xiaomi 17 Max, coming to China. For the occasion, many confirmations have arrived on the specs, with a focus on the photographic department and the first sample shot with the flagship. This time the brand has outdone itself, delivering the perfect blend between Camera Phone and Battery Phone: would you like a device like this in Italy as well?
Xiaomi 17 Max will have an exceptional camera: all the confirmations for the next flagship
The images published on the Weibo social network show a design close to the Xiaomi 17 series while the real novelties will all be underneath the chassis. As far as Camera Phone ambitions go, the company confirmed the presence of a 200 MP main camera with Leica optics, a sensor measuring 1/1.4″.
Clearly there will also be a periscope telephoto lens with 3X optical zoom while the third sensor should be an ultra-wide. Below you will find the first sample shot with the Max model.
At the moment the release date is still missing, but the company has confirmed that the debut will take place in May (in China), along with Xiaomi Smart Band 10 Pro and the brand’s first clip-on earbuds.
Display, battery and processor
The Lei Jun’s company has also confirmed other specs of the flagship: the heart of the experience will be the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, as with the rest of the lineup. Additionally, there will be a large display, 6.9″ diagonal: Xiaomi 17 standard has a 6.3″ panel, while in this case we have the same surface as the Pro Max variant (unreleased in Italy).
Finally, the new smartphone will be the most capacious in the family with its 8,000 mAh, surpassing the 7,500 mAh of the already cited Pro Max. Below you will find a draft of the technical sheet, based on leaks and confirmations so far.
