The Chinese company hasn’t finished with the V series smartphones yet: a new certification reveals the existence of vivo V70 Lite, a device that could belong to a more affordable tier compared to its higher-end siblings. Based on what has emerged, it would be a device equipped with only connectivity 4G, therefore designed exclusively for certain global markets.
The phone has appeared in the FCC body’s database both under the code V2604 and under the commercial name, confirming its identity. It is indeed the vivo V70 Lite and based on what has emerged we can also learn the first technical details — although the full spec sheet is missing and there are no clues about the design.
The smartphone is designed as a 4G model, equipped with a nominal battery capacity of 7,920 mAh, which translates to roughly 8,000/8,100 mAh of typical capacity.
Additionally, there appears to be a configuration of at least 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage: it remains to be seen whether this will be the sole variant or if we will also have other variants.
Unfortunately there is no information yet on the release, however it shouldn’t be long until the debut. In Italy we witnessed the launch of vivo V70 and V70 FE, presented in April; in India there is also a variant V70 Elite, with a higher-end chipset (still Snapdragon). It remains to be seen whether vivo V70 Lite will also find space here: LTE phones still have a certain appeal in Italy, so it is not to be ruled out a priori (although the brand ultimately has the final say).
