Summer is drawing nearer, and with the beach season come the latest Samsung foldables news. July has now become the stage for the mid-year Unpacked event, and this time it should not be an exception.
As this period approaches, news about devices increases: in fact, the overview of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 specifications is now clear. We can expect a smartphone with a conservative approach, although there will be innovations on the display and handling.
Back to talking about Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8: here’s what we can expect from the upcoming clamshell foldable

The profile sketched in these months of rumors is that of a device with few additions, both aesthetically and in terms of specs. The Onleaks images have allowed us to get a first look at the possible design and, in appearance, the new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 8 does not show major differences compared to the previous Z Flip 7.
Who was hoping for an improvement margin in the camera department, with the addition of a third sensor, will be disappointed: once again, the foldable would rely on a dual camera – composed of a main sensor with OIS and an ultra-wide.
Latest leaks point to the inner display: the dimensions should remain unchanged (this is a 6.9″ diagonal solution); however, this time there would be a panel with no visible crease. All thanks to a new hinge, which would also impact weight: the phone would drop to around 180 grams, compared to 188 grams of the previous model.
Furthermore, the same source maintains that many features of the Z Flip 7 will be kept, including battery capacity and charging – 4,300 mAh and 25W. Given the past, we can assume the presence of the SoC Exynos 2600, already present on board S26 and S26+.
According to leaks so far, the summer Unpacked event will take place on July 22 in London; along with the flip phone, Galaxy Z Fold 8, a book-style foldable, is also expected.
