In addition to unveiling the new Redmi K90 Max — the brand’s first model with a cooling fan — Xiaomi’s sub-brand has also lifted the curtain on its upcoming tablet. The device is expected to arrive in April, and, once again, it will be a stylish and elegant device, with impressive technical specifications. Here is Redmi K Pad 2 and all the confirmations before the debut, along with an overview of the rumors so far.
The new Redmi tablet will not have a fan, but it will certainly not lack other specs perfect for gaming. The device will arrive in three colors, including the bright Electric Purple — surely the most vibrant. Redmi K Pad 2 features a flat 8.8″ display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz; the company promises improvements both in brightness and for touch controls and eye-fatigue reduction features.
The tablet is built with a unibody metal chassis, while on the back there is room for a single camera sensor. Among the confirmations we also find the chipset Dimensity 9500 by MediaTek, while on the battery side there will be a capacious unit of 9,100 mAh.
The debut in China is scheduled for the month of April, while globally it should debut soon under the name Xiaomi Pad Mini 2.
