Xiaomi continues to churn out low-cost devices as if there were no tomorrow: a few days after the launch of the models POCO C81 and C81x, here comes the third addition to the lineup. This is POCO C81 Pro, an affordable device that seems to have little in common with the Pro designation (pardon the wordplay) even when compared with its younger siblings.
At the aesthetic level, POCO C81 Pro mirrors the standard C81: the rear is occupied by a vertical capsule camera module, while the front hosts a 6.9″ LCD display with a droplet notch. The display offers an HD resolution with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 800 nits.
Compared with its smaller sibling, it has a smaller battery (from 6,300 mAh to 6,000 mAh) but larger storage options. If the C81 stops at only 64 GB of storage space, the Pro variant also offers configurations of 128 GB and 256 GB. Aside from these aspects, the rest of the specifications remains unchanged.
The new budget-friendly model has also arrived here as the Redmi A7 Pro: as for the POCO C81 Pro version, it was announced globally with prices starting from 99 dollars (for the 4/64 GB tier).
