This month OnePlus launched the new mid-range Nord 6: the device was unveiled in India and we are waiting to learn more about its release also in our region. In the meantime it seems Pete Lau’s company has at least a couple more smartphones in the family in store, and now the alleged OnePlus Nord CE 6 has surfaced on Geekbench, with various details.
The identity of the new phone has not been confirmed: on Geekbench it appears with the code CPH2805, but the most plausible hypothesis is that it is indeed the next Nord CE model. The benchmarks report scores of 1,101 and 3,117, respectively in single-core and multi-core, along with various technical details.
The software is based on Android 16, there are 8 GB of RAM and the chipset characteristics match those of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a 4 nm solution with All-Big-Core architecture (with a maximum frequency of 2.7 GHz).
In recent weeks an insider has also published a purported live photo, which would show the mid-range’s design. Compared to the previous Nord CE 5 (which you see on the cover), the new OnePlus Nord CE 6 seems to have aesthetics closer to current devices (with a squared camera module).
The launch is expected during the month of May; moreover there are rumors that the device is a rebrand of the Chinese model Turbo 6V, but with a smaller battery (8,000 mAh instead of 9,000 mAh). Nord CE 6 Lite is also expected, spotted on Geekbench quite recently.
