Initially expected for May, in the end the official store brought forward the debut of the new models in the Number series. Honor 600 and 600 Pro are official in Italy as well and now the curtain has finally risen on the selling price: as usual the shop offers a tasty launch deal, which turns the presentation of the two smartphones into a golden opportunity to save up to €200 and get their hands on a bundle of gifts.
The new Honor 600 adopts a precisely sculpted unibody design, with a thickness of only 7.8 mm, and a fresh look for the camera module. On the back sits a large rectangular island housing the sensors and the LED flash, with a style echoing the latest flagship models from Cupertino. To emphasize the stylistic closeness we also have the color Orange, characterized by a bright orange shade.
Unfortunately this shade is exclusive to the standard model, while Honor 600 Pro arrives in Italy only in Black and Golden White. The refined design continues on the front as well, thanks to a display characterized by ultra-thin bezels (0.98 mm) for a wider viewing experience.
The screen is a AMOLED 6.57″ diagonal unit with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness record, up to 8,000 nits. The Sunlight Mode improves visibility in bright outdoor conditions, keeping colors faithful.
The new member of the Number series is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and is fueled by a 6,400 mAh battery, with 80W charging. Photo performance is entrusted to the AI Ultra-clear main sensor of 200 MP, with a 1/1.4″ size and optical stabilization, accompanied by a 12 MP ultra-wide with a 112° FOV and a color temperature sensor (dedicated to color fidelity). For selfies there is a 50 MP front camera.
The bigger brother Honor 600 Pro introduces some improvements that raise the bar both in terms of performance and camera capabilities. The heart of the experience is the Snapdragon 8 Elite, i.e., Qualcomm’s former flagship chipset: as a result the performance soars especially for gaming (thanks to ray tracing) and the greater computing power, even in terms of AI.
For the cameras the setup remains unchanged, except for the addition of a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. Finally the higher-end version also gains another exclusive feature, namely support for the 50W SuperCharge wireless charging. For the full specifications check our comparison between the newcomers!
The flagship Honor 600 Pro debuts at the list price of €999.9, but thanks to the discount code “A600P200” drops to €799.9 in launch offer. The benefits don’t end here: with the purchase of the new smartphone you can also receive the bundle consisting of the Honor Pad X9a tablet (67128 GB), the 100W GaN charger and 12 months of screen protection against accidental damage.
The standard version Honor 600 starts from €649.9 for the 8/256 GB version while the 8/512 GB version goes up to €699.9. In both cases you can redeem the discount code “A600150” to bring the final price down to €499.9 and €549.9 – depending on configuration. Also in this case there is a bundle of gifts: together with the phone you will also receive a pair of Honor Choice Earbuds Clip and 12 months of screen protection.
