Google Health makes its first appearance, complete with its official logo

The recent rumors that emerged over the weekend have finally found concrete confirmation. The Mountain View giant is taking decisive steps to reorganize its wellness and physical activity offering.

For the first time, the visual identity of the new brand Google Health emerges, a detail that confirms the company’s intention to integrate fitness services more closely into its main ecosystem.

The new symbol chosen to represent this transition is a stylized heart, which appears drawn with a single, fluid brush stroke. Being a continuous and open stroke, the figure is not filled, leaving a hollow space inside that gives it a modern look.

This choice represents an evident departure from the current Fitbit logo, based on a series of dots forming an arrow, and it comes closer in clarity and conceptual immediacy to what has already been seen with Google Fit.

From a color perspective, the new mark adopts the characteristic shades of the company’s main products, such as the classic ‘G’ from the search engine, Gemini, Home, Photos and Maps. The predominant color is blue, enhanced by a touch of purple, along with shades of green and yellow, while the red closes the palette, ensuring perfect visual continuity with the rest of Alphabet’s home services.

Pricing and Store Details

The first concrete traces of this news appeared in some international Google Store: adding a Pixel Watch or a fitness wearable to the cart, users noticed the wording related to a new service.

Meanwhile, some global pages of the Apple App Store leaked the brand name Google Health Premium in the in-app purchases section.

The prices shown correspond exactly to the current Fitbit Premium subscription, priced at $9.99 per month or $79.99 per year. While there is not yet absolute certainty that these figures are definitive, the lack of pricing changes suggests an immediate transition for already subscribed users.

Moreover, these details lead to the hypothesis that the service will remain independent and will not be immediately integrated into Google One bundles or offerings related to advanced artificial intelligence.

Currently Premium access is included as an additional benefit only for subscribers resident in the United Kingdom, and there is no indication of an imminent expansion of this benefit.

The future of devices and apps

The historic name of the acquired company will continue to exist exclusively for the hardware division, as evidenced by the maintenance of the brand for devices such as the highly anticipated Google Fitbit Air, avoiding the exclusive use of the Pixel branding.

On the other hand, the software division and all associated services will undergo a profound transformation, abandoning the old naming in favor of Google Health Premium. It remains to be seen whether the mobile app will also drop its original name to become a Google-branded application.

The introduction of this new iconography suggests that a full app update is imminent.
