Xiaomi is set to unveil in India the ‘new’ Redmi Note 15 SE 5G, a variant of the smartphone also introduced by us, characterized by an elegant style and a refined crimson color. Here’s what we know about the new device and what differences there will be compared to the standard model.
The new Crimson Reserve colorway takes mid-range styling to the next level, with a red back finish (the chassis is vegan leather) and a gold frame. As seen above, the new edition is named Redmi Note 15 SE 5G and will arrive in three colors: in addition to crimson there are also Frosted White and Carbon Black.
Undoubtedly a fairly pronounced aesthetic change compared to the standard Note 15 5G, available in Glacier Blue, Black and Mist Purple – fresher and more youthful colors. The SE model’s debut is set for April 2, for now only in the Indian market.
Thus the SE variant should have a curved 6.77-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 5,520 mAh of battery and a 180 MP main camera with OIS. It remains to see what configurations will be offered and the price, also in light of the various price hikes due to the memory crisis.
