POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max in first leaked images: launch is imminent

In the past few hours, an event was held in India to present the new MediaTek chipsets. These were announced in China in January and have debuted aboard Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Max. With the Global event the launch of the first international smartphones with Dimensity 9500s approaches: POCO, OPPO and Realme have officially confirmed it.

If for Realme we still do not know the identity of its phone, the same does not apply to the other two brands. OPPO Find X9s has been widely anticipated by leaks while the Xiaomi models have already been unveiled in China.

Yes. because the new Redmi Turbo would be on track to arrive in Global markets as POCO X8 Pro and POCO X8 Pro Max. A few hours after the announcement of the new chipsets, the first leaked images have also started circulating.

In these, you can see the possible design of the series that would closely mirror that of Redmi’s Chinese cousins.

The timelines are still unknown, but it isn’t out of the question that the India launch could take place as early as February. Obviously we are interested in the Italy release: the final word always rests with the company, but we assume it won’t be long until the launch.

The reason is simple: January was dedicated to the Redmi Note 15 series while Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra will arrive soon. It is likely that POCO will not be left out of early-year launches, so the new X8 series could find space in the coming weeks.
