Three years after the last laptop from Lei Jun’s company, here comes the new Xiaomi Book Pro 14. In this long period several Redmi devices have been launched, but this is the first time Xiaomi has returned to the flagship laptop in its main lineup. The wait has been amply rewarded by a compact and stylish solution that houses a high-performance Intel processor at its core.
The new Xiaomi-branded arrival features a light and slim body, made of magnesium alloy with a high-strength carbon fiber bottom shell. Onboard there is a 14.6″ OLED display with a 3.1K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,600 nits and Dolby Vision support.
The device also includes a fingerprint reader, positioned above the keyboard backlit; this also includes a button to summon Super XiaoAI, Lei Jun’s AI assistant. The laptop debuts in three configurations, all featuring flagship specifications:
Given the performance, an advanced cooling system could not be missing, consisting of a dual quiet fan and a liquid section with 10,000 mm2 vapor chamber, all while maintaining a slim profile.
The price of Xiaomi Book Pro 14 starts from around €1,070 at the current exchange rate: so we are talking about a premium laptop, even if offered on sale to celebrate the debut. At the moment the device has been announced only in China and there are no details about a potential global release. Below you will find configurations and prices.
