Samsung Galaxy S26 is already breaking every pre-order record

The global launch of Samsung’s new flagship smartphone lineup, officially kicked off today, March 11, opened with top-tier commercial results.

Even before the physical arrival on store shelves, the Galaxy S26 family has posted extraordinary numbers for the pre-order campaign, far surpassing the performance of the previous generation and confirming extremely high public interest.

Samsung Galaxy S26: The Numbers of an Exceptional Debut

Samsung Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra

The official data released by the South Korean company outline a picture of strong growth. Compared to last year’s S25 line, pre-orders have marked a 25% jump.

An enthusiasm that is reflected evenly on an international scale, where advance sales have shown double-digit increases, setting a new historic record for the brand’s premium devices.

In the United States, the public response has been even more pronounced: carriers have reported a 70% increase in inquiries, while major electronics retail chains, like Best Buy, have recorded volumes literally doubled.

At the center of this exceptional commercial response is the Galaxy S26 Ultra, which alone covers 80% of pre-orders on U.S. soil and 70% globally. Consumers therefore continue to prefer the most expensive and best-equipped variant, accepting a high starting list price to secure the maximum performance available on the market.

What makes these results particularly significant is the commercial and production context in which they matured. Typically, the introduction of a new ultra-high-end smartphone is accompanied by very aggressive promotional offers to stimulate initial adoption by the most loyal customers.

This year, however, the persistent DRAM and NAND memory crisis forced the company to scale back incentives.

If you add to this factor a climate of general economic uncertainty, the volume of preorder sales becomes even more significant.

The New Features Driving Sales

But what exactly drives users to this new iteration? Although it’s a minor update from the perspective of design and raw hardware compared to the direct predecessor, the real novelties reside in the user experience and in the integration of advanced features.

The feature generating the most traffic and interest on social platforms is undoubtedly the Privacy Display, a true global exclusive introduced exclusively on the Ultra model.

Parallelly, the small camera innovations, extensively enhanced by artificial intelligence, have captured the attention of content creators and photography enthusiasts.

Sophisticated features such as the Nightography mode for night shots, the Generative Edit for advanced image editing, and the Super Steady with horizontal lock guarantee high-level results, justifying the price.

Starting today, the new smartphones are regularly available for direct purchase in the major global markets. Many of the early order customers have already received the product over the past week, thanks to the expedited shipments arranged by the company, or are awaiting home delivery in these hours.

For everyone else, the wait is over: the storefronts of physical stores and digital platforms are ready to welcome those who want to buy a device that, in hard numbers, has already proven its commercial strength.
