After beating rivals to the punch, Motorola seems intent on moving as fast as a train. The company has announced new smartphones available for the program Beta dedicated to Android 17, just hours after the first models. This is the first brand after Google to begin the rollout, a shift in direction from what happened with Android 16 (which didn’t satisfy everyone).
The program’s expansion involves four very popular smartphones in the brand’s catalog: these are Motorola Edge 60, Edge 60 Fusion, Edge 70 and Moto G86. The company has announced the opening of applications through its support forum, specifying that the testing phase is currently limited to a small number of users residing in certain geographic areas.
Entering into the details of regional availability, for all devices the program is accessible to users in the EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) area but not only. This is a geographically widespread distribution that suggests the company’s willingness to gather feedback from a diverse user base to optimize the software at scale.
Users interested in participating in the preview can submit their application via the official support forum or by following the dedicated links. If the application is selected, Motorola will send detailed instructions to participants directly via email to proceed with the installation.
