The new mid-range models were officially released just a few hours ago and we can already take a look inside the larger model. Samsung Galaxy A57 is the subject of an interesting teardown video — in fact released before the launch event — which lets us take a closer look at the device’s secrets. Additionally, the PBKreviews analysis answers a fundamental question for technicians and tinkerers: how easy is it to repair?
The answer is straightforward: Samsung Galaxy A57 has scored a 9 out of 10, which means it is extremely easy to repair — thanks to the company’s engineering and build choices. Dismantling the phone is fairly easy: a bit of heat to remove the back cover, then removing a series of Phillips screws makes it possible to dismantle the internal chassis.
The internal layout is fairly standard, with the motherboard at the top and the battery compartment at the bottom. It is this latter that earned the smartphone quite a few points: the 5,000 mAh unit is fixed with an adhesive tab, which makes removal easier. Among the novelties we find a larger vapor chamber than the predecessor, positioned right beneath the battery.
The camera component remains unchanged — with a triple camera setup of 50 + 12 + 5 MP and optical stabilization — while the real hardware addition is represented by the new Exynos 1680 chipset.
