While the flagship models clash with AI and top cameras, Realme continues to firmly hold the base of the pyramid. The new Realme Note 80 has officially arrived on the Asian market, presenting itself as a targeted evolution of the previous Note 70. With MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification and a price that at the current exchange rate remains below the psychological threshold of €100, it is poised to become the new reference point for those seeking extreme reliability without draining the wallet.

The new addition to the brand’s entry-level range does not change the cards on the table compared with Note 70 (arrived here as Note 70T, with a smaller battery), indeed it seems almost like an alternative version. The new Realme Note 80 inherits a good portion of the specifications and characteristics of its predecessor, but adds a different design.
The phone is equipped with a large rectangular camera module (with rounded corners) that occupies the entire top portion of the back. Inside we find a pair of sensors and the LED flash: in reality there is a single 8 MP camera while the second space has only an aesthetic purpose.
On the front we have a flat 6.74″ HD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a waterdrop notch for the 5 MP selfie camera. Once again we find the Unisoc T7250 chipset while the autonomy is entrusted to a 6,300 mAh battery with 15W charging.
The smartphone is rated IP54 but offers MIL-STD-810H military-grade resilience and an Amorshell chassis to withstand bumps and drops. Realme Note 80 has debuted in some Asian markets at a starting price of around €97 at the current exchange rate. We do not know if it will arrive in Italy, but the predecessor has also found space here at a selling price below €100.
