OPPO’s flagship foldable was at the MWC Barcelona: it has been spotted in the flesh and photographed by paparazzi, while the company confirmed a debut in China for the month of March. And now we are dealing with an almost definitive leak: OPPO Find N6 shows itself in the orange version, vibrant and eye-catching, while a leaked photo reveals many details about the specifications.
The design of OPPO Find N6 doesn’t stray too far from Find N5: we find a round camera module, but this time the LED flash is positioned externally. Also the leaked images reveal the three colorways in which it will arrive: the black and silver are certainly the most elegant and sober, while the orange tone (clearly inspired by the latest iPhone 17 Pro) adds a touch of vibrancy to the foldable.
The camera setup changes, now including four sensors: according to what has emerged we will have a 200 MP Samsung HP5 main sensor, accompanied by a 50 MP ultra-wide and a 50 MP periscopic telephoto – both Samsung JN5 sensors.
This year there will be a 2 MP sensor dedicated to color fidelity: the new multispectral sensor is an unprecedented addition for the foldable lineup. Finally, Hasselblad optimizations are likely to be present, given the collaboration between the two brands.
A leaked shot taken during an internal OPPO event would also reveal the rest of the specs. Find N6 should mount an external display of 6.62″ diagonal (a BOE Q10 unit) with LTPO 8T technology for a 1 Hz to 120 Hz refresh rate, up to 3,600 nits of brightness and PWC at 2,160 Hz.
Inside there would be an 8.12″ foldable display with 2K resolution: this would be a Samsung E7 panel with peak brightness up to 2,500 nits.
Being a flagship, the heart of the experience cannot be anything but the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 (although there are reports of a new 7-core version); there would also be a 6,000 mAh battery (with fast charging and wireless), not forgetting a slim and lightweight chassis.
According to rumors, the launch should take place on March 17; moreover there are whispers of a Global version, but it is wise to wait for official details before venturing on this front.
