The MWC 2026 in Barcelona saw the debut of Edge 70 Fusion for the Italian market, and alongside the new mid-range there is room also for the latest generation foldable. Motorola razr Fold is on display at the Catalan fair: let’s take a look at all the technical details and the price for Italy.
Announced during the CES 2026, finally Motorola’s first book-style foldable is shown in full: the company has unveiled details on specs and price for Italy. There is also room for the special FIFA World Cup 26 edition: in this version Motorola razr Fold features various aesthetic customizations and 24-karat gold-plated details.
As noted above, after several generations of flip phones, the brand ventures for the first time into the category of book-style foldables. Motorola rarz Fold arrives with a large external display of 6.6″ diagonal, but when opened it unfolds an 8.1″ panel with 2K resolution and peak brightness up to 6,200 nits. In both cases these are pOLED displays with LTPO technology for a refresh rate from a minimum of 1 Hz up to 120 Hz.
Despite the large screen size, the phone remains compact and easy to handle, with no compromises on durability. Motorola has implemented a stainless steel drop hinge paired with a titanium plate; the device is IP49-rated.
Powering it all is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip, backed by a 6,000 mAh battery with 80W wired charging. The 50W wireless charging is also present. The camera system is a triple 50 MP setup with OIS, ultra-wide and a periscope telephoto lens, while for selfies there are two cameras (internal 32 MP and external 20 MP).
The new Motorola razr Fold will arrive in Italy soon, at a price of 1,999€ for the standard version. The FIFA World Cup 26 special edition will be available for preorder in the official store starting April 13, at 2,399€; with this edition you will receive a ticket to a World Cup match as a gift.
