As teased by the company itself, vivo X300 Ultra has been announced at the MWC 2026. However the device has not yet been announced and the Chinese company has limited itself to providing a few details. The most important information concerns availability: the Camera Phone is not just a styling exercise to show Western users but will arrive in Global version and in Europe – we also expect it to arrive in Italy.
The design of the vivo X300 Ultra remains a mystery: the phone was shown only with a new cover that serves as a photography kit, enhancing the onboard package. A large circular module is clearly visible – in the perfect style of the series – but colors and final aesthetics are uncertain.
Through the dedicated cover it is possible to attach the new vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen2 Ultra, a long name to indicate an external telephoto lens capable of offering a focal range of 400 mm (double that of the kit of the previous X200 Ultra).
Designed in collaboration with ZEISS, the lens was created to meet APO imaging standards and supports a full optical output of 200 MP, delivering crystal-clear image quality even with a 1600 mm digital crop. It also promises maximum stability thanks to gimbal-grade OIS technology and motion-tracking autofocus technology.
In addition to the telephoto, vivo has introduced a new camera cage, a professional-grade camera cage designed to enhance the X300 Ultra’s video shooting capabilities. The expandable cage is equipped with a series of sliding mounts and quick-release ports for seamless accessory integration, paired with a dual grip to ensure exceptional stability during the most challenging handheld shooting.
To ensure extremely precise creative control, the cage also includes dedicated physical buttons for tactile shutter and zoom adjustment, while a multi-level integrated cooling fan keeps performance at peak during high-intensity recordings.
Below you’ll find an overview of the specifications, but for the moment there are no confirmations from the company. The international debut of vivo X300 Ultra is set for 2026 but for the exact date we will have to wait a little longer.
