Not only smartphones: Honor WIN expands into the world of gaming laptops

The Chinese manufacturer has never shied away from gaming solutions: the GT smartphone series was born precisely for this, and the WIN line (spiritual successor) has raised the bar with flagship features that compete with rivals ‘experts’ such as REDMAGIC.

It seems that in Honor’s future, gaming will continue to have space: talk is of a new flagship, but the real highlight could be a notebook, with high-end specifications.

Honor will continue to focus on gaming: coming soon is also a WIN notebook and a new flagship

According to the latest rumors from Digita Chat Station, a Chinese insider particularly well-regarded, Honor will launch a gaming notebook. The device would be powered by the Intel Core i7-14650HX, with Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 graphics.

There is no information about either the other features or the design, but the insider claims to have tested it: under the hood there would be an active cooling system, with high-speed fans. Nothing too precise, but at least we know the laptop is designed for heavy workloads (providing adequate cooling).

Memory-wise there would be 16 GB of DDR5 RAM and 512 GB and 1 TB of SSD storage. The name could be Honor WIN Gaming Laptop, very descriptive.

The rumors then shift to the next gaming smartphone: the company would also have in the works Honor WIN 2, or better it would already be in an early hardware development phase. The first WIN model debuted in China last December with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, a 10,000 mAh battery and active cooling (with integrated fan).

Unfortunately there is no further information while the launch of both devices is expected by the end of 2026.
