Among the upcoming announcements at Xiaomi’s February 28 event, there will also be the new premium earbuds Redmi Buds 8 Pro, the ultimate solution for those seeking top-tier sound without sacrificing practicality. However the official store still strikes: the TWS product page is already available, with images and information on features — although the price is not yet available.
The Redmi Buds 8 Pro debut with a sophisticated triple coaxial driver system, for extremely rich details and a sound response that is markedly more precise. Thanks to the Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification and support for LDAC transmission, the device guarantees clear and distortion-free sound quality.
The experience is further enhanced by the integration of Dolby Audio, while the spatial audio feature with dynamic head tracking ensures that the sound moves with the user, creating total immersion in music, video and games.
On the side of tranquility, the intelligent active noise cancellation (ANC) reaches an impressive depth of 55 dB, eliminating ambient noise across a bandwidth that goes up to 5 kHz. The system is not static, but adapts in real time to the surrounding environment and how the earbuds are worn, performing up to 32,000 samples per second to perfectly adjust the level of isolation.
Noise management has been designed specifically for those who travel or move daily: dedicated modes for airplanes and trains combine active cancellation with noise masking, creating a calm bubble even when the network signal is weak. Calls benefit from AI noise reduction thanks to three integrated microphones that, working in synergy, guarantee a clear voice even outdoors in wind at 12 m/s.
The Redmi Buds 8 Pro also stand out for their endurance: with a single charge you can enjoy 8 hours of listening, which becomes about 33 hours using the charging case. Thanks to the fast charging feature, just 5 minutes plugged in provides another 2 hours of music.
Connectivity is guaranteed by Bluetooth 5.4, which allows you to connect two devices simultaneously, while the audio sharing feature lets you connect two pairs of earbuds to the same compatible Xiaomi smartphone (to enjoy a movie or a track together with a friend).
Available in Glacier Blue, Obsidian Black and Cloud White, the Redmi Buds 8 Pro earbuds feature stems finished with a vacuum metallization process that gives a shiny finish. Completing the picture are IP54 water and dust protection and compatibility with the Xiaomi Earbuds app for gesture customization and sound settings.
