No orange for Europe? Here are the color options for the POCO X8 Pro and Pro Max

The presentation of the Xiaomi 17 series is set for February 28, however those aiming at the mid-range will have to wait, although it is likely that this won’t be a long wait. The new POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max don’t have a date yet, and yet it seems that everything has already been revealed.

A brief appearance on Xiaomi’s site (the page has been removed) allowed us to get an early look at the design. Now, however, leaked press renders have surfaced, which would reveal all the colorways coming for both phones.

POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max: the render leaks show all colors, but the orange one is missing

As for POCO X8 Pro, the device will debut in the colors blue, white and black: on the front there is a large display with a central punch-hole, while the rear houses a dual-camera setup and a single LED flash. For the specs, it features a 6.59″ AMOLED display, a Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC, and a 6,500 mAh battery.

Turning to the bigger brother POCO X8 Pro Max, in this case the color tones will be azure, white and black: the design doesn’t change but we have a dual rear LED flash. The technical part would be handled by the Dimensity 9500s, with a 6.83″ diagonal display and a large 8,500 mAh battery.

A real pity the lack of the orange color: the two smartphones are the rebrands of the Chinese models Redmi Turbo 5 and 5 Max, with the larger brother also available in China in the Sunshine Orange variant. Back to POCO phones, rumors are already many: recently an insider has “confirmed” the complete specifications of both.

In addition, the official store itself has accidentally published the European prices of the two smartphones, so the debut is basically only a matter of time. Anyway February and the early days of March are all about the Xiaomi 17 lineup: after the February 28 announcement, the series will be at the MWC in Barcelona.

Probably POCO X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max will make their appearance in the second half of March; anyway this is just our hypothesis and – as usual – the final word belongs to the Chinese company.
