Cupertino has just confirmed the March date, with many new products. In the meantime Carl Pei was lurking: shortly after Apple’s announcement, the unsolicited response from the alternative brand in the Android landscape arrives, with a teaser revealing the presentation date of the new series Nothing Phone (4a).
The event dedicated to Nothing’s news is set for March 5, the day after Apple. The official poster — published by Carl Pei — “vandalizes” Cupertino’s rival by overlaying the Nothing name on the Apple logo.
A bold image, which seems to be more than a simple jab between companies; we hope Carl Pei’s company doesn’t fall into the startup trap as happened with the former OnePlus brand.
The company is expected to launch three new products: Nothing Phone (4a) and (4a) Pro would enrich the manufacturer’s mid-range lineup, together with the headphones HeadPhone (a). According to recent information, the brand’s upcoming devices are expected in several colors, namely white, black, yellow, pink, and blue.
Regarding smartphones, the design has not yet been revealed, but we expect a semi-transparent shell, in the brand’s signature style. The phones would rely on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 and 7 Gen 4 chipsets, with a 5,080 mAh battery, 50W charging, and IP65 rating. Additionally, there have been leaks about the possible price, where increases are expected.
