Fujifilm Instax brings together instant photography, sport, and sharing at the LBA Frecciarossa Final Eight 2026

The collaboration between the world of imaging technology and professional sport is renewed for one of the season’s most anticipated events in Italian basketball.

Fujifilm Instax has been confirmed as Official Supplier of the LBA Frecciarossa Final Eight 2026, consolidating a partnership that aims to integrate the sports experience with the tangibility of photographic memory.

The brand’s presence at the event unfolds through operational activities designed to interact directly with fans and support the youth competitions that will frame the main tournament.

The audience engagement at the Inalpi Arena will be realized through the setup of a dedicated area named instax PHOTOBOOTH.

This space has been designed to offer spectators the possibility to transform their event experience into a moment of content creation. Visitors will indeed be able to take instant photographs, capturing their presence beside the Coppa Italia trophy, symbol of the competition.

The operation relies on portable printing technology, in particular the model instax Link WIDE. The choice of this device addresses precise logistical and narrative needs: the “wide” format, being wider than the traditional instant-film standard, allows better handling of group shots, typical of fan contexts and gatherings.

In this way, the digital file is immediately converted into a physical object, allowing fans to leave the arena with a tangible souvenir that attests to their participation in the Final Eight.

Support for the next generations and prizes

Beyond entertainment for the general public, the supply agreement includes a specific focus on the youth sector. Fujifilm Instax will extend its support to two parallel tournaments hosted again at the Inalpi Arena: the IBSA NextGen Cup and the University 3×3 Under-23 Tournament.

For the teams that win these competitions, prizes have been planned in line with the digital habits of young athletes. The award will consist of providing instax mini LiPlay+ cameras accompanied by the related films.

This device represents a very important technological hybrid for the company’s catalog, because it unites the mechanics of instant photography with digital functionalities.

The camera allows users to view a preview of the shot on a rear LCD monitor, giving the user the possibility to select which images to print and which to discard, reducing waste.

Additionally, the LiPlay+ also serves as a printer for images from smartphones and integrates specific features for selfies, facilitating documentation of victory moments and group moments.
