OPPO K15 Turbo with built-in fan: Gaming Phones have now left the niche

The world of smartphones has always been highly competitive: aside from the big, unassailable names at the top of the charts, the rest of us ordinary users have had to come up with ever-new solutions to stay afloat or strengthen our position.

The preview centers on the upcoming OPPO K15 Turbo and Turbo Pro: the series borrows heavily from the Gaming Phone world, and with the new generation it should continue to offer one of the hallmarks of the premium tier.

In the current climate of competition, tech trends play a key role: the latest novelty that has now become widespread comes from the Gaming Phone niche. More and more brands are launching their own gaming smartphones, and the cooling fan has gone from being a special add-on to a must-have.

REDMAGIC 11 Pro is the latest in a long tradition for the Chinese brand, which this time has outdone itself by introducing an IPX8 waterproof chassis. However the moment of glory lasted only briefly: the Honor Win lineup features a fan and dust- and water-resistance, while Honor Win presents the fan and dust/water resistance, while iQOO 15 Ultra will have an active system that promises to be high level.

There are also rumors about the OnePlus Ace 6 Turbo, still with the same features. The typical elements of Gaming Phones are now mainstreamed and also belong to traditional smartphones, even those in the mid-range and upper-mid-range such as the current K13 Turbo and K13 Turbo Pro – IP69 and with a physical fan.

According to the insider Digital Chat Station we can also expect the same from OPPO K15 Turbo Pro: the device would feature the Dimensity 9500s, paired with a flat 6.78″ 1.5K display. Among the other specs also a large-capacity battery and the presence of a cooling fan, combined with an IP-rated waterproof chassis. The feature would also be present on the smaller sibling OPPO K15 Turbo.

The launch is expected to take place during the first quarter, so we just have to wait for further details.
