The boundary between professional photography and mobile photography is becoming increasingly thin, and it seems that OPPO /strong>is intent on delivering a decisive blow to bring it down once and for all.
As the tech world eagerly awaits the month of March, the period during which the official launch of the company’s new flagship is rumored to take place, the web is already buzzing.
Although the Chinese manufacturer has not yet released official statements, a series of leaks is outlining the profile of what could be the camera phone definitive.
The latest images leaked online, in fact, show the alleged OPPO Find X9 Ultra in a completely unprecedented guise, equipped with an external telephoto lens of imposing dimensions.
The images, originally circulated by an informant on the Chinese social platform Weibo, do not merely show the device in its raw form, but depict it wearing a genuine advanced photographic kit.
The live “stolen” shots reveal a complex system consisting of a dedicated case and a grip (camera grip) designed to improve ergonomics during shooting, turning the experience into something very similar to that of a high-end compact camera.
The kit seems very similar to the one shown for OPPO Find X9 Pro and Vivo X300 Pro.
However, the feature that surely grabs attention is the optical extension mounted on the back. It is an external telephoto converter that appears massive and, according to the images, offers a focal length of 300 mm.
The reputable leaker Digital Chat Station has reiterated this technical detail, noting that such a focal length is currently the highest in the industry.
There remains, however, a veil of mystery around the exact technical operation: the leaks do not specify which of the device’s internal cameras this optical kit will act upon, leaving enthusiasts to indulge in speculation until the official unveiling.
Beyond the impressive external optics, the images also offer intriguing insights into the intrinsic design of the smartphone. The alleged OPPO Find X9 Ultra seems to abandon the pronounced curves in favor of a flat-design display, a stylistic choice that often appeals to those who use the device for content creation and mobile post-production.
Another detail not missed by the most attentive observers is the presence of multiple physical buttons positioned on the right side of the chassis.
Their arrangement and quantity suggest that they are not only for power or volume but could be dedicated to manual photographic controls, such as capture or zoom adjustment, further reinforcing the device’s identity as a tool for photographers.
The external 300 mm accessory is only the tip of the iceberg of a camera setup that promises to be stellar even without additional modules.
Expectations for the OPPO Find X9 Ultra are sky-high: it is anticipated that the device will feature a dual-telephoto configuration to ensure versatility in every shooting condition.
According to the most credible rumors, the system will include a whopping 200 MP telephoto sensor with a 3x optical zoom, ideal for ultra-high-definition portraits, paired with a second 50 MP sensor capable of a 10x optical zoom.
