Pixel 10a in “unofficial” images: design and specs too predictable?

The first Google news coming in 2026 will be the next Pixel 10a, the entry-level model of the series. Initially expected at the end of the year, we instead return to the usual launch window — that is between March and April.

While waiting to learn more officially, at these hours some alleged renders have emerged: compared to those seen a few months ago, in this case they would be unofficial images, leaked before the launch.

Based on what has emerged in terms of design and specs, calling it a conservative approach might be an understatement. The look of the Pixel 10a shown in unofficial renders shows an unchanged style, with a horizontal capsule dual-camera next to the LED flash and a display with a central punch-hole.

It was already in the air since October — with concept images — but in that case there were rumors of thinner and better-optimized bezels. And instead the new model seems to copy the previous Pixel 9a, apart from a slightly shortened camera module.

The similarities would not only concern the design but also what we will find under the hood. The specs leaked in December talk about a phone equipped with a board practically identical to that of the predecessor.

The only novelty would be represented by an enhanced version of the Tensor G4 chipset, but for now there are no clues, only speculation.
