The list of services that Muse, Meta’s AI agent, can work with continues to grow. After the integrations announced in recent weeks, including Notion, GitHub, Expedia, OpenTable and Ticketmaster, as well as PayPal and other payment systems, it’s now music’s turn.
Meta Muse and Spotify: What you can do
Now Muse can connect to Spotify (but only in some countries, for now), in order to manage the app directly from the conversation. It can play and queue music, podcasts, audiobooks and videos, save content to the library and create new playlists, even with a name chosen by the user.
It can also help discover new music, books or podcasts, schedule playback at a specific time, for example a workout playlist at 7 AM, and control listening across multiple devices via Spotify Connect. To link the account you need to go through muse.ai.
The most curious feature is Personal Podcast: Muse can transform daily briefings, notes and ideas into an audio content, saved directly in the user’s Spotify library.
Where Muse is available
Muse is an AI agent with which a continuous conversation is carried out, represented by an avatar that can be changed and customized. In addition to the connected services, it can also act in Meta apps such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads. In recent weeks it has also made headlines for other reasons, from the clash over social names with the eponymous band to the Muse Charm keychain.
All these features are free, but at the time of writing Muse remains available only in the United States, Canada and Mexico. There are no indications yet of a rollout to Italy, so we await news.
