Nothing seems ready to enrich its audio offering with a new high-end device. According to recent rumors, on September 29, 2026 the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro will debut on the market.
This new model will sit one notch above the existing variants, offering a selling price of 349 euros for the European market.
Early reports suggest a device characterized by premium materials and advanced technical specifications, marking a clear step forward compared to the Headphone (1) and the Headphone (a) in terms of overall listening experience and build quality.
After introducing Headphone (1) in July 2025 at a price of 299 euros and the more affordable Headphone (a) in March 2026 at 159 euros, the brand now targets a much more demanding customer base.
The design of the new model will undergo a significant structural update, abandoning conventional plastic polymers in favor of an aluminum chassis paired with scratch-resistant glass.
This combination will give the product an elegant appearance, also backed by an IP52 certification ensuring adequate protection against dust and light splashes of water.
The headphones will be available in the classic colors white and black, and will be accompanied by a hard transport case, as in the original model and better than the soft pouch provided with the more affordable model.
Advanced audio and noise cancellation
The most interesting innovations certainly concern the audio architecture. The Headphone (1) Pro will be equipped with a three-driver system dedicated to the separate handling of bass, mids, and highs, the latter entrusted to XMEMS technology to ensure maximum clarity of voices and instruments.
The sound tuning was carried out in close collaboration with the European company Metropolis Studios. Users will enjoy spatial audio with dynamic head tracking, equalization functionality, and Hi-Res Audio certification, with full support for the LDAC codec both in wireless and wired mode.
The adaptive active noise cancellation will be processed in real time by a whopping 10 microphones, 4 more than the standard model, ensuring extremely high levels of acoustic isolation and a comfortable transparency mode.
Battery life and new connectivity
The integration of such advanced features will bring a slight but noticeable reduction in overall battery life, settling at 60 hours of continuous playback.
This is lower than the 80 hours of the previous version and the impressive 135 hours of the ‘a’ model, but remains an excellent performance for everyday use, also supported by fast charging technology.
On the connectivity front, the device will introduce the innovative Bluetooth 6.1 standard for more stable and faster wireless connections, while maintaining maximum versatility thanks to the USB Type-C port and the classic 3.5 mm jack.
Track and call control will be handled via physical controls positioned directly on the ear cups.
Market positioning
Despite the inevitable price increase, the Nothing Headphone (1) Pro will maintain a highly competitive price compared to other giants in the audio industry.
At 349 euros, the device will remain much more affordable than alternatives such as the Sony WH-1000XM6, the Sennheiser Momentum 4 Wireless or the famous AirPods Max 2.
All that remains is to await the official announcement from the company to discover all the final details and confirm the highly anticipated late-month launch event.
