The Exynos 2700 chipset, expected to be onboard the upcoming Galaxy S27 series, would have appeared again on Geekbench with a score that hints at a significant performance jump compared to what has emerged so far: a result attributable to an internal test but that offers the first concrete indications of the performance of Samsung’s new chip.
Exynos 2700 back in the spotlight: here is the new score spotted on Geekbench
The SoC has been spotted on Geekbench 6.7.1 with a score of 4,328 points in single-core and 14,700 points in multi-core. It would be a test linked to Samsung itself, while the device in question could be the unreleased Galaxy S27.
On the architecture front, Exynos 2700 would adopt a 10-core configuration organized into two primary Arm C2 Ultra cores (at 4.24 GHz and 3.36 GHz), accompanied by four C2 Pro cores at 3.74 GHz and another four C2 Pro cores at 2.88 GHz.
The chipset would also integrate a Xclipse 970 GPU and a dedicated NPU for AI workloads, with support for LPDDR6 RAM. Production will once again be by Samsung Foundry, on the SF2P node at 2 nm.
The comparison with the April 2026 listing should be taken with caution
Previously the SoC has already been spotted on Geekbench, precisely in April; in that occasion the new Exynos had shown scores decidedly lower for the same chipset, with 2,603 points in single-core and 10,350 in multi-core.
The jump compared to the new result should, however, be interpreted with caution, since the two tests were run on different Geekbench versions (6.6.0 and 6.7.1) and, as the source itself points out, they would not be directly comparable.
Other chipsets recently spotted on Geekbench
Exynos 2700 is not the only notable SoC recently in Geekbench’s spotlight: in recent days scores had already emerged for the XRing O3 on the Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro Max and for the chipset aboard the vivo X500 Pro Max, another sign of how the period ahead of the late-2026 launches is particularly rich with rumors about the performance of the next high-end devices.
Exynos 2700 should debut aboard Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+ and Galaxy S27 Pro, probably in the first months of 2027 (January or February). While waiting to learn more, here are the latest updates: confirmations on charging for the Pro and Ultra models and the alleged protective cases (which would offer a glimpse of the design).
