The summer launch from Samsung saw foldables and wearables as the main stars, but in the second half of the year there are other novelties planned. In addition to the tablet series, the Korean company will announce Samsung Galaxy S26 FE, the budget flagship of this generation.
Perhaps it’s better to stop calling it ‘affordable‘, given the recent rumors about the price in Europe. Price hikes spare no one, and even the next smartphone in the FE family will be hit by the increases.
Samsung Galaxy S26 FE: how much will it cost in Europe

The latest updates come from a fairly reliable insider, but for now they refer to the French market. It remains to be seen whether there will be changes for Italy, but in the meantime the outlined profile isn’t among the most appealing.
First of all, the new Samsung Galaxy S26 FE should start at 128 GB, a memory reduction that is now deemed inappropriate and has also been removed from the regular series. Galaxy S26 starts directly at 256 GB, while for the FE variant they opted to go with a lower configuration, but the rumored price is not at all appealing.
- 8/128 GB – 799€
- 8/256 GB – 899€
- 8/512 GB – 1.099€
All three configurations have suffered price increases compared to the previous generation, with the final blow for the flagship variant. Galaxy S25 FE was launched at list price of €769, €829 and €949; the next S26 FE is expected to see price increases from as little as €30 up to as much as €150 (still with 8 GB of RAM).
Clearly we take for granted that there will be launch offers, but even during promotions we expect that the final prices will be higher than those of the previous FE.
Release date (leak)
Samsung has not yet revealed the presentation date for the Galaxy S26 FE, but rumors continue to reveal this very detail as well. The launch is expected to take place around September 1, perhaps together with the new tablet series Galaxy Tab S12.
